Our Singapore office just had their first quarterly outing in February at the infamous Coriander Leaf restaurant. Besides learning about team work during the class they also learned to make delicious cookings such as Curried Chickpeas, Roasted Duck, Chicken Kebab, etc. The day was closed with a satisfaction of being able to appreciate and EAT the yummy food.

The Jakarta Team had a different experience of self discovery and appreciation towards art. The team was taught various painting styles using bright colors and self imagination at the same time learning to express ideas and feelings on a piece of canvas. The team also learn about appreciating art no matter it seems meaningless or clueless but an art is an art!

The Singapore team had an enriching and fun day during this second quarterly outing. Building sandcastles is not as easy as it seems but with great teamwork and a positive mindset nothing is impossible!  Following afterwards, a nice dinner at the Coastes perfected the day.

Sushi Underground, Jakarta, Indonesia. This is the second quarterly outing for the Jakarta team where they gained a unique and interesting experience of learning how to slice sashimi and make traditional and fusion sushi. The group was divided into three teams and we each were tested on the lesson that was given by the Sushi Chef, and got a chance to invent our own sushi.

The team had a very interesting experience of learning how to mix and shake drinks. The group was divided into four teams and we each were tested on specific cocktails, and got a chance to invent our own, with widely varying degrees of succession.

 

The group participated in a Pottery class that encouraged creativity in adults and enabled the release of stress, and a good deal of clay. It was both a therapeutic and a team building experience, as we broke into teams to conceptualize and make joint “works of art”

The team had a challenging diving experience, introduced to a new sport that can be appreciated for a lifetime. Congratulations to our new certified PADI divers namely Arief, Casey, Fitria & Irvine. We also presented awards to our team

A fun team-based mini-golf competition on Sentosa Island, followed by chill-out drinks and dinner at Café del Mar.

It was a new experience for some of the team members to get close encounters of the coral reef and its inhabitants in the Candidasa waters. We spotted a moray eel! The experience was fantastic and lunch was great by the seaside

The team formed into two groups and embarked on a race around Singapore to search for answers to clues provided and to perform tasks that tested not only their knowledge of Singapore but also their capacity to work with each other under several constraints. The teams capped the day with the traditional Singapore feast of “chilli crabs”.
